Where We Are
The Rolla Ranch, owned by Wayne Sawchuk and Donna Kane, offers a quiet, creative space to focus and unwind. The ranch is located 2.4 kilometers from Rolla, which is in turn located 25 kilometers northeast of Dawson Creek BC. Rolla is home to a post office, convenience store and cafe.
The house is well set-up (see photos below), with excellent appliances, plenty of office space, and amazing views of the sky, moon, and stars. Northern Lights viewing right from your window is a distinct possibility!
There are extensive libraries for your use ranging from poetry, fiction, non-fiction, science, and exploration.
Your responsibilities
- You will need to take care of our two friendly housecats, Thomas and Cleo.
Dates
We are currently looking for someone to stay from November 16th to December 21st.
Compensation
- Payment is $25/day.
- We pay for all utilities, water, and wifi
- Housekeeping services are provided every two weeks
Criteria
- Applicants must be reliable and conscientious
- No pets (other than our cats)
- Couples are welcome
